Summer Childcare Field Trips
**STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN LITTLE EAGLES DAY CAMP AT BLUE MOUNTAIN ELEMENTARY EAST OR CRESSONA ELEMENTARY IN ORDER TO SIGN UP FOR THESE TRIPS***Trip 1: Glow Bowling at Strike Zone Alleys (Wednesday, June 15)
Cost: $15 per person
Deadline: Friday, June 10
Departure/Return: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Information: The Little Eagles' Daycamp will travel to Strike Zone in Pottsville on June 15 for a day of glow bowling. Campers can bring a lunch or purchase food at the Strike Zone concession stand. Participants are required to wear their green field trip tshirt, socks, and sneakers or other soft-soled shoes. NO SANDALS OR FLIP FLOPS.
Cost of $15.00 includes transportation, bowling shoes, and games bowled. All participants will bowl at least 2 games. The arcade will be open for the last hour of the day, so campers can bring money to play games if they choose.*Trip 2 - Roller Roost Sports Arena (Thursday, June 23)
Cost: $10 per person
Deadline: Monday, June 13
Departure/Return: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Information: The Little Eagles Day Camp and Playground programs will travel to the Roller Roost Sports Arena in Pottsville on June 23 for a day of roller skating, basketball and laser tag. Participants can bring a lunch or purchase food at the roller Roost concession stand (hot dogs, pizza, soft pretzels, popcorn, drinks etc.). Participants are also reminded to wear their green camp tshirt, socks, sneakers or similar soft soled shoes. NO SANDALS OR FLIP FLOPS.
Cost of $10.00 includes transportation, roller skates and laser tag equipment. There will be skating in the full rink for the first two hours, while the rink will be divided for skating and/or basketball for the third hour. The arcade will be open as well, so if participants want to play in the arcade, they must bring money (games are $.50 and $1.00).Waiver Reminder

. This waiver can also be found on the Roller Roost's website (rollerroostsportsarena.weebly.com/waivers). You may complete this waiver at any time and we strongly encourage you to complete it immediately after registering your child for this trip.
Note: If you've already been to the Roller Roost and filled out an online waiver, you DO NOT have to fill out another one.*Trip 3 - Cressona Pool Swim Day (Tuesday, June 28)
Cost: $12 per person ($7 per person if your student has a pool pass. Discount will apply at checkout)

Departure/Return: 10:00 am - 3:30 pm
Information: The Little Eagles Day camp will spend a fun filled day at the Cressona Pool on Tuesday, June 28. Students will be bussed from East elementary to the Cressona pool. Parents can also drop off directly at the pool NO EARLIER THAN 10:30 if this is more convenient. Parent pick up at the pool will be 3:00, with the bus returning to East for approximately 3:30. Each student will be given a voucher for a drink and snack choice, included in registration. (Options include water or capri sun, and a hotdog or nachos)
Students are reminded to wear their camp tshirts, in addition to bringing/wearing a bathing suit, and packing a towel and sunscreen labeled with their name. Students will be assisted by staff in administering sunscreen throughout the day. Students can pack a lunch and drinks or bring money to purchase items at the pool's concession stand.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING: masks (goggles that cover the eyes only are ok), snorkels, innertubes/inflatables, balls or glass containers.
Upon arrival, every camper will be asked to take a swim test with our certified lifeguards. If they pass the test, they will be able to access the deep end of the pool. If they do not pass the test, they must remain in the shallow end of the pool.
We will be utilizing a 1:6 staff to student ratio at all times when at the pool.*Trip 4 - Movie day at Fox Berkshire (Thursday, July 7)
Cost: $20 per person (includes popcorn, gummy candies and a drink)

Departure/Return: 9:15 am - 1:30 pm
Information: The Little Eagles Day Camp will travel with the playground programs to Fox Berkshire Theater in Wyomissing on July 7 for a morning at the movies. The movie we will be seeing will be "Minions: The Rise of Gru". Participants will be given a snack before leaving for the movie, enjoy movie snacks at the theater and will have a late lunch at the building upon return. Students can purchase additional food items at the theater's concession stand as well. Please plan to pack a normal lunch this day.
Students are required to wear their green camp tshirts for this trip. Cost includes transportation, movie ticket, and complimentary movie snack pack with drink.*Trip 5 - Freefall Trampoline Park (Wednesday, July 13)
Deadline: Friday, July 1
Departure/Return: 9:30 am - 3:15pm
Information: We will travel with playground to Freefall Trampoline Park in Bethlehem on July 13. Students should bring a packed lunch and drink, as food/drink will not be provided by the facility. Participants are required to wear camp tshirts for this trip.NOTE: All participants are required to wear "grip socks" for this trip.
If you've been to Freefall or another trampoline park in the past, you can bring grip socks with you. Otherwise they may be purchased on site the day of the trip for $3/pair. Due to health and safety protocols, students WILL NOT be permitted to jump barefoot.
Cost for this trip includes transportation and two hours of unlimited access to the entire facility (main court, dodgeball, dunk hoops, airbag, battle beams, extreme air, ropes course and meltdown).WAIVER REMINDER:

Information: The Little Eagle Daycamp and playground programs will travel to Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg on July 18 for a day full of fun, food and fantasy. Participants are required to wear their green camp tshirts for this trip. Students are also required to wear socks and sneakers or other soft soled shoes. NO FLIP FLOPS OR SANDALS. Students should have a sunscreen labeled with their name, either stored with the staff or packed for the day.
Cost for this trip includes transportation and your ride ticket/wristband. Your ride ticket/wristband will give you access to all rides within your height limit, including the wooden roller coasters. The only ride that is not included will be the Haunted Mansion, which will cost $3.00 in tickets that can be purchased inside the park. The crystal Pool and water area will not be accessible during this trip.
Lunch will not be provided for this trip, so students can either pack a lunch (we will have coolers to store lunches), or bring money to purchase food inside the park. If your students would like to purchase souvenirs, use the arcade or play games, additional money will be required for that.
Our group will stage up at Pavilion U and walk into the park in supervised groups with assigned staff.*Trip 7 - Camelbeach Outdoor Water park (Thursday, July 28)
Cost: $50 per person (includes a $15 meal voucher)

Departure/Return: 8:45 am - 6:30 pm
Information: The Little Eagle Daycamp will accompany playground to Camelbeach Outdoor Waterpark in Tannersville on July 28. This one is back by popular demand!
Cost of the trip includes transportation, a water park ticket and a $15 food voucher that can be used within the park. Tickets provide unlimited use of all water attractions, including slides, family activity pool, adventure river, tubes, wave pool etc.
Lunch will not be provided, aside from the meal voucher. Meal choices include chilcken fingers, hotdogs, hamburger/cheeseburger, with French fries and a soda/water).
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: Students are required to wear their green camp tshirt for this trip. Any child not wearing his/her shirt will not be allowed on the bus. In addition, it is recommended to wear suits under clothes and bring clean/dry clothing for the trip home. Please pack a towel and labeled suncreen, as well as any additional money in a labeled bag.
As a group, we will have reserved picknic tables under a pavilion to leave our bags and personal belongings throughout the day, but we highly recommend only packing what your student will need inside the park.PLEASE NOTE: There are height restrictions on some attractions in this park, so younger/smaller students may find themselves limited in their choices of activity. Parents - Please keep this in mind when registering your child. We highly recommend checking out Camelbeach's website for more information if you are uncertain if this trip will work for your child.*Trip 8 - Reading Phillies Baseball Game (Tuesday, August 2)
CAMP DAY VS HARTFORD YARD GOATS - FIRST PITCH 11 AM
Cost: $20 per person (includes bagged lunch at the game - hotdog, apples, snack, drink, chips)

Information: The Little Eagles Day Camp and playground programs will travel to First Energy Stadium in Reading on August 2 for Camp Day at the Reading Phillies. Our seats will be mainly undercover, but it is still recommended you pack sunglasses and sunscreen. A baseball glove to catch foul balls is optional. Participants are also required to wear their green camp tshirts. Any child not wearing his/her tshirt will not be allowed on the bus.
Cost of $20 includes transportation, ticket, and bagged lunch. If students want any other concessions or souvenirs, please pack extra money for these.**Care will be provided during each of these field trips at the East Elementary for any families who choose not to attend trips.**
