Summer Playground Field Trips
**STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN ALBRIGHTS, CRESSONA OR WAYNE TOWNSHIP PLAYGROUND PROGRAMS IN ORDER TO ENROLL IN THESE FIELD TRIPS**
Please note that departure/return times on this registration page are APPROXIMATE and will be finalized before each trip in accordance with registration numbers and transportation needs*Trip 1: Glow Bowling at Strike Zone Alleys (Friday, June 20)Cost: $25 per person
Deadline: June 18 @ 3PM
Departure/Return: 10:30 am - 2:30 pm (approximate)
Information: The Playground Program will travel to Strike Zone in Pottsville, on June 20 for a day of glow bowling. Campers can bring a lunch or purchase food at the Strike Zone concession stand. Participants are required to wear their blue field trip t-shirt, socks, and sneakers or other soft-soled shoes. NO SANDALS OR FLIP FLOPS.
Cost of $20.00 includes transportation, bowling shoes, 2 games and a $10 arcade card. The arcade will be open for the last hour of the day.
*Trip 2 - Roller Roost Sports Arena (Wednesday, June 25)Cost: $15 per person
Deadline: June 20 @ noon
Departure/Return: 10:30 am - 2:30 pm (approximate)
Information: The Little Eagles Day Camp and Playground programs will travel to the Roller Roost Sports Arena in Pottsville on June 25 for a day of roller skating, basketball and laser tag. Participants can bring a lunch or purchase food at the roller Roost concession stand (hot dogs, pizza, soft pretzels, popcorn, drinks etc.). Participants are also reminded to wear their blue camp tshirt, socks, sneakers or similar soft soled shoes. NO SANDALS OR FLIP FLOPS.
Cost of $15.00 includes transportation, roller skates and laser tag equipment. There will be skating in the full rink for the first two hours, while the rink will be divided for skating and/or basketball for the third hour. The arcade will be open as well, so if participants want to play in the arcade, they must bring money (games are $.50 and $1.00).
Waiver Reminder: The
Roller Roost requires each parent/guardian to fill out an online liability waiver prior to the trip. You will be emailed a link prior to our trip that
must be completed by Monday, June 23 at 12:00 pm. This waiver can also be found on the Roller Roost's website (rollerroostsportsarena.weebly.com/waivers). You may complete this waiver at any time and we strongly encourage you to complete it immediately after registering your child for this trip.
Note: If you've already been to the Roller Roost and filled out an online waiver, you DO NOT have to fill out another one.
Students who's waivers are not received prior to departure will not be able to get on the bus for this trip.
*Trip 3 - AMC Wyomissing Movie Theatre (Wednesday, July 2)COME SEE How To Train Your Dragon!!!Cost: $25 per person (includes transportation, movie ticket and a popcorn and drink snack pack)

Departure/Return: 8:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (approximate)
Information: The Little Eagles Day Camp and playground programs will travel to the AMC Theater in Wyomissing for a private showing to watch the new live action retelling of
How To Train Your Dragon. Participants are required to wear their playground tshirts.
Cost of $25 includes transportation, movie ticket and a popcorn and drink snack pack. Concessions will be available for purchase on site as well.
*Trip 4 - Harrisburg Senators (Thursday, July 10)Cost: $42 per person (includes ticket, lunch, transportation and a Senators cap)
Deadline: 6/27 @ 3pm
Departure/Return: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm (approximate)
Information: The Playground program will travel to Harrisburg to see the Harrisburg Senators take on the Erie Seawolves.
Cost of this ticket includes admission to the game, a hat and a voucher for a hotdog, chip and fountain soda lunch! Children can also bring money for souveniers and concessions throughout the day.
WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: Students are required to wear their blue playground t-shirt for this trip. Any child not wearing his/her shirt will not be allowed on the bus. In addition, it is highly recommended that students pack sunblock and sunglasses if they have them. We will be as shaded as possible, but ball parks are sunny spaces!
**Return time for this trip will vary based on duration of the game**
*Trip 5 - Mauch Chunk State Park Swim day (Wednesday, July 16)Cost: $15 per person
Deadline: July 11 @ 3pm
Departure/Return: 10:30 am - 4:45 pm (approximate)
Information: The Playground Program will visit Mauch Chunk state park for a day of hiking, swimming and outdoor fun.
Students are required to wear their blue camp t-shirts for this trip, and can wear suits under clothes or pack them to change once we arrive at the park. We will be renting a private pavilion to store our bags and items, and so we have a cool place to relax and eat lunch.
Students can pack a lunch and/or bring money for concessions. All children should pack sunscreen for this trip. Mauch Chunk Lake has lifeguards staffed in their swimming area at all times and we will also have full kitchen amenities to keep items cold throughout the day.
Please no fins, snorkels or floaties (aside from Coast Guard approved devices)
Please no glass containers
*Trip 6 - Go'N Bananas Family Fun Park (Thursday, July 24)Cost: $53/person
Deadline: July 11 @ 3pm
Departure/Return: 9:15 am - 4:30 pm
Information: Playground and Little Eagles Day Camp will travel to the Go'N Bananas Family Fun Center in Lancaster Pa.
Cost of this ticket includes lunch (pizza, chips and soda), a $10 arcade card and unlimited access to the following attractions:
- Ballocity
- Laser Tag
- Spin Zone
- Laser Frenzy
- Mini Bowling
- Ropes Course
- XD Dark Ride
Students will be required to wear their camp tshirts, socks and sneakers. Students can still pack a lunch and will be given a designated lunch time to sit down and eat with their group. Please pack a reusable water bottle for this trip as well.Concessions will not be available for this event.
*Trip 7 - Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom (Tuesday, July 29)
Cost: $75/person
Deadline: July 14 @ noon
Departure/Return: 9:45 am - 5:30 pm (approximate)
Information: The Playground Program will travel to Dorney park and Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown on Tuesday, July 29 to finish off our summer with a day of amusement and water rides! Participants are required to wear their blue camp tshirts for this trip. Students are also required to wear socks and sneakers or other soft-soled shoes.
NO FLIP FLOPS OR SANDALS. Students should have a sunscreen labeled with their name, either stored with the staff or packed for the day and swimwear can be packed in a small bag or worn underneath.
Cost for this trip includes transportation, admission and a catered lunch consisting of choice of 3 entrees, 2 sides, drink and dessert. Your ride ticket/wristband will give you access to all rides within your height limit.
DORNEY PARK IS A CASHLESS VENUE. If you want your child to have spending money for this trip they MUST be given a gift card with that amount loaded onto it. Students will be responsible for their own gift cards. We will make exceptions for our youngest children, obviously, and will assist with money management as needed at parent request.
Staging areas and staff contact info will be released closer to the date of the trips for parents who would like to accompany or attend any field trip venue with their child. Please reach out for information.
