The Blue Mountain Recreation is partnering again with the Blue Mountain Athletics Department to offer a variety of sports camps and open play for students K-12!

Boys Summer Basketball Camp
Week long summer camp for boys who will be entering grades 3 through 9 in the fall of 2025. Camp features training in fundamentals, ball
handling, passing, dribbling, shooting, and other skill development. Register by 6/6/25 to be guaranteed a basketball!

Mini Cheer Camp
The Blue Mountain Recreation Commission will sponsor a Cheer Camp for all interested girls entering grades K-6 in the Fall. The camp will be held rain or shine. This Camp will provide instruction in basic techniques and fundamentals of cheer leading, including: cheers, chants, dance moves and other aspects of cheer leading.

*No soccer on July 3.

NOTES FROM COACH: Bring water, shin guards, soccer cleats & appropriate attire/dress for the weather. DO NOT bring a soccer ball. Lifting will occur at 10:00am in the BMHS weight room on training days regardless of poor weather and possible earlier field cancellations.

Girls Summer Volleyball
The summer open volleyball program is for all interested Blue Mountain Resident girls interested in playing in the Fall and entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2025. The program will serve as summer workout sessions, offer skill development, and match play. This is a free program. *In addition, the program will run all five days the final week from August 4-8 (8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.).

Summer Running Club
The Blue Mountain cross-country coaching staff will be organizing a summer running club for any Blue Mountain resident (entering grades 7-12) interested in joining the cross-country team in the fall. The primary goal of the running club is to improve aerobic conditioning, running form, proper running mechanics, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and core strength. Club members will need a good pair of running sneakers. We will run every Tuesday and Thursday morning. The Club will be held rain or shine, but in the event of severe weather or change in schedule, you will be notified by text alert through the TeamReach app.
