Summer Childcare Field Trips
STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN LITTLE EAGLES DAY CAMP AT BLUE MOUNTAIN ELEMENTARY EAST OR WEST IN ORDER TO SIGN UP FOR THESE TRIPS
Please note that departure/return times on this registration page are APPROXIMATE and will be finalized before each trip in accordance with registration numbers and transportation needs
Trip 1: Glow Bowling at Strike Zone Alleys (Weds, June 18)

Cost: $25 per person
Deadline: June 13 @ 3pm
Departure/Return: 10:30 am - 2:00 pm (approximate)
Information: The Little Eagle Day Camp will travel to Strike Zone in Pottsville on June 18 for a day of glow bowling. Campers can bring a lunch or purchase food at the Strike Zone concession stand. Participants are required to wear their green field trip tshirt, socks, and sneakers or other soft-soled shoes. NO SANDALS OR FLIP FLOPS.
Cost of $25.00 includes transportation, bowling shoe rental, games bowled and a $10 arcade credit. All participants will bowl at least 2 games.
*Trip 2 - Roller Roost Sports Arena (Wednesday, June 25)

Cost: $15 per person
Deadline: June 20 @ 3pm
Departure/Return: 10:30 am - 2:30 pm (approximate)
Information: The Little Eagles Day Camp and Playground programs will travel to the Roller Roost Sports Arena in Pottsville, Pa on June 25 for a day of roller skating, basketball and laser tag. Participants can bring a lunch or purchase food at the roller Roost concession stand (hot dogs, pizza, soft pretzels, popcorn, drinks etc.). Participants are also reminded to wear their camp t-shirt and BRING SOCKS to wear under their rental skates.
Cost of $15.00 includes transportation, roller skate rental and laser tag. The arcade will be open as well, so if participants want to play in the arcade, they must bring money

Trip 3: Movie day at the AMC in Wyomissing (Wednesday, July 2)

Cost: $25 per person
Deadline: June 25 @ 3pm
Departure/Return: 8:45 am - 2:30 pm (approximate)
Come join us as we visit the AMC Theatre in Wyomissing to see the live action How To Train Your Dragon! Our showtime will begin at 10:15, with busses departing the theatre as soon as the film is over.
Little Eagles Day Camp and our Playground programs will travel to Wyomissing to enjoy a private viewing of this brand new release! Trip cost will include travel, movie ticket and a popcorn and drink combo pack. Children will be able to pack a lunch or bring money to purchase concessions during the movie.
Trip 4: Mauch Chunk Lake Park (Tuesday, July 8)

Cost: $15 per person

Departure/Return: 10:30 am to 4:45 pm (approximate)
Little Eagles Day Camp will travel to the Mauch Chunk Lake Park in Jim Thorpe for a day of picnicking, nature and swimming! Children can purchase concessions on site or pack a lunch for this trip. Please no glass containers!
We will be renting a pavilion to eat, stay cool and store our items for the day. Children will enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including nature walks, outdoor play and a sandy lake beach.
Mauch Chunk Lake Park beach staffs lifeguards at all times and asks that swimmers refrain from bringing snorkels and fins, rafts or tubes.
Trip 5: Lake Tobias Wildlife Park (Tuesday, July 15)

Cost: $35 per person
Deadline: July 11 @ 3pm
Departure/Return: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (approximate)
Information: The Little Eagles Day Camp will travel to Lake Tobias Wildlife park in Halifax, Pa to enjoy a day of animal fun! Campers will be able to visit the animals on display in the zoo, participate in the open-top Safari tour and even feed the animals fresh veggies!
Price includes transportation, zoo ticket, tour, and Keepsake plastic drinking cup. Students should pack a lunch and will eat lunch in small groups under the reserved outdoor pavilion.
Students are required to wear their green camp tshirts for this trip. Please wear sneakers or solid toed shoes, as there is a fair amount of walking as well.
Lake Tobias does have a gift shop and time will be allotted for campers to visit the gift shop and purchase souvenirs if they choose. Parents should send cash in an envelope labeled with students' names and the amount. Staff will hold funds for younger children and help them spend effectively, but parents should advise children if there are limits to spending permissions.
Trip 6: Go'N Bananas Family Fun Center (Thursday, July 24)

Cost: $53 per person

Little Eagles Day Camp and Playground will travel to Lancaster Pa to enjoy a day of fun at the Go'N Bananas Family Fun Center. Cost of this ticket includes lunch (pizza, chips and soda), a $10 arcade card and unlimited access to the following attractions:
- Ballocity
- Laser Tag
- Spin Zone
- Laser Frenzy
- Mini Bowling
- Ropes Course
- XD Dark Ride
Students will be required to wear their camp tshirts, socks and sneakers. Students can still pack a lunch and will be given a designated lunch time to sit down and eat with their group. Please pack a reusable water bottle for this trip as well.
Concessions will not be available for this event.

Departure/Return: 9:30 am - 5:15 pm (approximate)
Information: The Little Eagle Day camp will travel to Knoebel's Amusement Park in Elysburg on Jul 30 for a day full of fun, food and fantasy. Participants are required to wear their green camp t-shirts for this trip. Students are also required to wear socks and sneakers or other soft soled shoes. NO FLIP FLOPS OR SANDALS. Students should have a sunscreen labeled with their name, either stored with the staff or packed for the day.
Cost for this trip includes transportation and your ride ticket/wristband. Your ride ticket/wristband will give you access to all rides within your height limit, including the wooden roller coasters. The only ride that is not included will be the Haunted Mansion, which will cost $3.00 in tickets that can be purchased inside the park. The Crystal Pool and water area will not be accessible during this trip.
Lunch will not be provided for this trip, so students can either pack a lunch (we will have coolers to store lunches), or bring money to purchase food inside the park. If your students would like to purchase souvenirs, use the arcade or play games, additional money will be required for that.
Pavilion staging areas will be announced closer to trip date for parents who are interested in meeting up.
