The program relies on volunteer coaches! All clearances are good for 5 years and are free to obtain!

1st and 2nd Grade Co-Ed Instructional Program (East and West)

This fundamental Co-Ed program encourages kids to develop a strong skill foundation with appreciation for the game of basketball. Players will be introduced to the sport of basketball establishing a foundation and understanding for how the game is played. The basics of court layout, rules, shooting, passing and dribbling will all be worked on. Players will begin the season with four practices to create a strong foundation. Volunteer coaches will work with the Recreation to create four teams. These four teams will have four games to experience game play.

This program will begin in October on Saturdays and run until November 22nd for a total of 8 sessions.
Practices:
1st and 2nd Grade @ EAST 9-10:30am 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25
1st and 2nd Grade @ WEST 9-10:30am 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25

Games will be held at both locations starting November 1st. Please see the schedule once teams are established.
