**Please note, as Wayne Township is still under construction, we will be using portable restrooms and handwashing stations at this site for this year. BMRC will be providing access to drinking water and any other needed amenities for children enrolled at Wayne. Wayne Township has agreed to maintain restrooms and handwashing stations on our behalf throughout the duration of the playground program season.
**Wayne Township Recreation Area also has a pond on site. Staff will be adhering to a very strict behavior guideline in keeping students away from this standing water. Please use judgement when enrolling students at this site and discuss the need for responsible play around water with your child.

** Parents will also be required to purchase a blue Playground t-shirt if student plans to attend field trips. Cost of this tshirt will be $8 and will be due at registration **

INFORMATION: The summer playground program is an eight-week outdoor experience that allows kids to play, socialize and have fun together. Supervised by trained college staff, this program features games, sports, group play, arts & crafts, etc. and is open to all students who are 8 through 13 years of age. This cost-affordable program (which breaks down to only around $4.50/day for resident families and $6.50/day for non-resident families) provides the flexibility to attend whatever days and hours are convenient for you.
In addition to daily on-site activities, there will be multiple field trips throughout the summer (these will be optional with an additional fee). Some of the field trips we will be taking this year include: Glo-Bowling at Strike Zone, Cressona Pool, Roller Roost Sports Arena, Movies at Reading IMAX, Reading Phillies, Xtreme Air at the Works, Knoebel's Grove, Camelbeach, etc. Enrollment for field trips will be separate from Playground Registration.
**Registration for field trips will be made available online before the start of programming**
This program is designed to get kids outdoors in a supervised setting that allows them to play, get creative, make new friends, and HAVE FUN!
