Dog Obedience Register View Cart

Fall Dog Obedience classes will start on August 10th. Handlers and dogs learn together basic training and proper methods for correcting unwanted behavior. Exercises taught are: proper heel position, automatic sits, sit/stay, down/stay, come when called, attention skills, and more.

Classes are held on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:30 p.m. on the front lawn of the Blue Mountain Middle School. Classes will continue for seven (7) weeks. Handlers need to be at least 14 years old to participate. Note: depending on the number of participants, classes may be divided into two separate hour-long classes; one starting at 6:00 p.m. and the other starting at 7:00 p.m.

Cost of the class is $50 for Blue Mountain residents and $75 for Non-residents. Registration fees increase to $60 (residents) and $90 (non-residents) starting on August 1.

NOTE: Only handlers should report for the first class - DO NOT bring your dog to this first class. Please bring your dog’s vaccination record with you on the first night of class.
