The Biddy Tumbling program is a basic program offering an introduction in tumbling skills to pre-school and early elementary children. The program will emphasize balance, flexibility, improving coordination and overcoming insecurity when trying new things. It will offer basic tumbling skills mixed with movement development activities and games. Mats, tumbling shapes and barrels, and other equipment will be used by most participants.

CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED!  Sign up on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Children must be at least 2 years old by March 26th to enroll in this program. A parent/guardian, 18 years or older must participate as well. 

Students must wear appropriate clothing each week. Shorts, T-shirts, socks or leotards would best suit the students.

The Recreation Commission runs its programs under the safest possible conditions. Competent instructors will be provided, as well as spotters. However, tumbling, by nature can be a hazardous activity. Parents are urged to carry some type of medical coverage on their children, in the event of accident. Classes will run up to six weeks.

PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ASKED TO ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. No jeans, belts, or jewelry may be worn. All long hair must be pulled back.
2. Walking instead of running is preferred.
3. No food or gum chewing allowed in the gym/room. Only water in a bottle or sealed container will be permitted inside the facility.
